Supporting Behaviour

Sometimes children and young people with additional needs can present with behaviour that challenges. This can be a barrier to accessing the community and getting the most out of family life. In school we have a range of interventions to ach pupils the skills they need to better manage behaviour. We also offer a range of support groups and courses for parents. We work with a range of professionals to help our pupils manage their sensory needs and to develop strategies to support behaviour in school and at home.

These professionals include;

- Educational Psychology
- Family Support Worker
- Play Therapy
- Occupational Therapy
- Visual Impairment / Hearing Impairment / Multi Sensory Impairment Team
- Speech and Language Therapy

If you feel that your child would benefit from input around behaviour please contact us at school.
